

The transfer function of infant incubator was obtained by step test method using First-Order and Dead Time (FOPDT) model where process gain K = 0.29, settling time Ts = 18s and dead time Td = 1. This paper explained design of temperature control system using Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller and its implementation to the laboratory scale infant incubator. Infant incubator that equipped by temperature control system can support thermoregulation process in baby body. Premature babies have difficulty for regulating their body temperature because weight deficiency.
